Dr. Hansen has had a private practice since the late 1980s. She underwent further training in Clinical Psychopharmacology and in 2005 she added prescribing to the services she provides. She provides the following:
-individual therapy/counseling for ages 12 or older
-evaluations for ADHD/ADD and surgery readiness
-counseling for life issues such as relationship decisions, occupational decisions, academic problems, and stress
-several evidence-based psychotherapies (tested and proven effective) offered for depression, bipolar, anxiety, insomnia, and trauma
-medications for all mental health, emotional or behavioral health problems
-expertise for over 30 years in trauma, having worked in the past with the National Center for Posttraumatic Stress

-Transtheoretical therapy orientation which means trained in all different types of theories and treatments such as behavioral, cognitive behavioral, psychodynamic, humanistic, and many others tailoring techniques to the specific problem, stage of change, and individual person

Credentials: licensed in Clinical Psychology and board certified in Medical Psychology
